Product Description：
The mixed noble metal oxide(MMO) ribbon anode is composed of a titanium substrate (ASTMB 265 grade 1 titanium) covered with a layer of electrocatalytically active metal oxides (oxides of metals such as ruthenium, iridium, titanium, etc.). Oxide coatings have low polarization and extremely low consumption rates. By adjusting the composition of the oxide layer, MMO anodes can be applied in different environments, such as seawater, freshwater, and soil media.
MMO ribbon anodes have been used as auxiliary anodes for mesh cathodic protection systems for cathodic protection of newly constructed tank floors. The MMO titanium anode coating produced by HOWAH has a very low loss rate in various environments of cathodic protection, about 2mg/A.a, and its service life can reach more than 30 years.
